Growing up in Newcastle, Jessie moved to the Mid-North Coast in 2019 to complete her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with the University of Newcastle, having undertaken placements across rural and metropolitan areas in a range of settings.
Having completed her SMA Sports Trainer Level 1 during University, Jessie has worked with a range of sporting clubs over the last 4 years to provide on-field Sports Trainer and First Aid services, including experience with soccer, AFL, and netball. Combining these experiences with a history of representative netball has sparked an interest in the prevention, management and rehabilitation of acute sporting injuries.
Jessie’s particular areas of interest include low back pain, sporting injuries, chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, as well as neurological and paediatric conditions, with a focus on combining manual and active treatments for long-term management.
Outside of the clinic, Jessie enjoys playing netball, touch football, and exploring some of the beaches and hikes the coast has to offer.
