Jessica graduated from University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours. Jess has since gone on to complete her Masters in Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice.
Jess is a physiotherapist with a strong passion in helping people. She is passionate about providing services to those in rural communities with the aim to minisie the need for people to travel for assistance. Jess enjoys educating the younger population whether this is through having year 10 work experience students through to physiotherapy undergraduate students. Sport is something Jess is very passionate about! She plays indoor netball, touch and has been involved in the local soccer club.
Jess has also dabbled in research where she presented at the 13th National Rural Health Conference in 2015 and has a research article published; Physical activity of rurally resdiding children with a disability: A survey of parents and carers.
Jess believes that physiotherapy involves both a hands on and enabling approach with the aim to empower people to help themselves.
