A successful applicant should have
- Current AHPRA registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical reasoning and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy, initiative, and a genuine passion for helping people improve their independence and well-being
- Experience or interest in:
- Functional assessments
- Rehabilitation
- Assistive technology
- Home assessments
- Neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
- NDIS, aged care, and community health
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments
- Develop and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Support clients to achieve independence and functional goals
- Provide functional, mobility, and activities of daily living support
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team
- Complete reports, letters, and clinical documentation
- Assist clients across private practice, NDIS, aged care, and community settings where applicable
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, carers, and healthcare providers
